Gov. Arnold Schwarnegger unveiled a revised budget proposal that would require voters to approve a plan to use revenues from a “modernized” lottery program to pay for the state budget deficit and create a “rainy day” fund.

It appears that republican economics has not only failed on the federal level, but is also failing on the state level as well. I like Arnold, but he doesn’t appear to be doing a whole lot better with the state budget than the last Governor (Davis) that we had.
He borrowed money to pay off the last debt, now he wants to use the money that’s SUPPOSED to be going to our schools to pay the new debt… No, no, no! Our schools are struggling as it is, we can’t tie their hands because managing the budget is harder than Arnold thought it would be.
